The only limitations are the ones you put on yourself

Before you can effectively begin to receive and walk in the promises of God and see them materialize and manifest in your life there are certain things you have to settle in your heart. It has to be settled that God indeed wants you to be success, prosperous and happy. We find in fact that it is written in 3 John 1:2 (Amp) Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers. Some of the scriptures I speak of may be ones that you are well acquainted with but it does YOU well to meditate and speak them again. And Again. Receive them in fullness with the power of the Holy Ghost over your mind. The book of Jeremiah in the 29th chapter is a letter sent by the Prophet Jeremiah to the exiled people in Babylon from Jerusalem. . The message from God through the prophet Jeremiah to the people was one of hope and encouragement. The Lord Himself reveals in the 11th verse to the people For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Like most others I has read those words and the other good news in the bible but the promises of God seemed so far stretched from the life I was actually living. I was reading them but they weren’t producing results in my life. It wasn’t until I was really FED up with the life I was living that I was ready to do ANYTHING to have the life God meant for me. First I made a decision to get saved and lived saved. I was going all the way with Christ and for Christ. At the point that I surrendered all then became willing to study, pray and heed the voice and direction of the Lord. I then learned that in Christ I was anointed which meant I had power to do all He wanted me to do. I receive in truth that I had authority. Real authority and power and I made a decision that would be powerful and not pitiful. I would take responsibility for my life and what I wanted to be and not keep blaming others for what I didnt have. I would be diligent in cancelling the lies of the enemy and receiving truth from God. The Lord told Joshua and the words are still the same for us today in the 1st book of Joshua for us to be strong and courageous and NOT to terrified or discouraged. God has promised us that He the Lord our God will be with us wherever we go. I believe for others as it has been for me that the devil keeps you focused on the failures of the past so that you will not look for and expect the success of your future. Unlike most of us who truly don’t know it or maybe we just don’t believe it the devil knows he is defeated so his main tactic of is to get the believer to doubt the goodness and greatness of the Lord..
It has to be settled in your soul, spirit and body that no matter what it looked like in the past or even now in your current situations that we serve a God {Eph. 2:20) who is willing and able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us. My question to you today is are you asking Him? 1 John 5: 14-15 writes to us that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that he hears us- whatever as ask- we know that we have what we have asked of Him. Maybe you are you wondering if your specific prayer request is in His will for you? If that is your question read His word and find your promise covered in His word. When you find it in His word and then pray it, confess it and receive it for yourself. So many times we are afraid to go boldy before God with what we want for fear that He doesn’t want the same for us. I have heard so many people who don’t pray specifically they just say Lord if its your will . When it comes to our personal desires and plans for life Psalm 20 verses 4-5 says May He (GOD) give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. We are the sheep of Jesus and we know His voice. God trusts us that as His vessels who are in relationship with Him that we won’t come to Him asking for anything that would not ultimately glorify Him. Colossians 1:9 has Paul saying For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. As a believer You can never receive the richness and the goodness of the promises of the Lord if you NEVER truly understand and know that He has them for you and wants to give them to you.
It settled in my spirit and soul NOW and FOREVER that God is for me and there can not EVER be anyone against me. It settled that no weapon formed against me shall prosper and no matter what I go through I am always victorious. When we are so afraid of going to God with the big dreams and big desires we then feel excused from ever expecting them come to pass.
One of the most important changes I had to go through was to let go of my LOW GRADE MENTALITY. My thinking had me on my worst day expecting disaster and on my best day settling for mediocrity. I didn’t even know that I could pray big, bold prayers but when I finally did it was at the same time that my faith and expectancy was there to receive my promises.
Don’t get me wrong in thinking the process will be easy especially when all you have even known is defeat, failure or just getting by in life. In Genesis 18 when God is telling Abraham that Sarah who well past the age to have a child would in fact have son the next year she overheard and laughed. I am sure there are some who think my big dreams are funny. Maybe even now ts hilarious to think that God can turn your own life around but like He said to Sarah I now say to you. IS ANYTHING TO HARD FOR GOD?
Be Blessed. MANIE
