Spirit of Oppression: LONELINESS

Joshua 1:8b..For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
One of the most liberating and loving things the Holy Spirit ever revealed to me was to let me know that I was not in this world by myself.
To understand the fullness of that revelation is to know that I had spent so much of my life feeling, thinking and living alone. From the time I was a little girl I really felt all by myself. I dealt with a lot of natural circumstances that caused me to feel isolated from other people- my weight issues, being an only child, being reared in a house of division and strife. And sometimes the harder I tried to belong the more apparent it seemed that I didn’t.
The truth is that sometimes lonely people do really desperate things to fill the loneliness in their lives. They drink, they sleep around, they overeat, they join gangs.
All of that to escape the torment of loneliness we experience at the hand of absent or unloving parents, distant friends and a invisible and seemingly distant Saviour.

Today the Lord give is fresh revelation by letting us know that He is very real and very close to us at all times. The truth is that we have a God that neither sleeps  nor slumbers. He knows the very number of hairs on our head.

The pleasures of the world can never give us the satisfaction that a deep, intimate relationship with Him can give to us. Right now the LORD is calling for us to let HIM all the way into our lives. Our Father is calling for a deeper, richer and more meaningful relationship with His children.
John 16:32 (NLT) But the time is coming-indeed it’s here now-when you will be scattered, each one going his own way, leaving me alone. Yet I am not alone because the Father is with me.

Prayer for today:
Father God, in the name of your Son Jesus Christ I come thanking you for what YOU have done for for me in my life and for now the deliverance and healing I will see manifested in my heart, soul, spirit and life right now concerning loneliness. Lord as it is written turn to me and be gracious to me for I have been lonely and afflicted. Lord I believe and confess according to your word that you will never leave me nor forsake me. Today I decree that I believe and confess that I am filled with the BLESSED and POWERFUL Holy Spirit. Right now I make the decision to reject, resist and forbid the deception, lie and pain of loneliness from my life. I know that God is with me. I know the Holy Spirit is in me.  It is done unto me according to my faith. Amen.

Be Blessed, Manie

Now what..Now wait!!!

Romans 8:25 (NLT) But if we look forward to something we dont yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.

I am again reminded from the Holy Spirit that I am only accountable for doing my part and I must allow God to do His part. You have to know today that if you have done everything that you know to and if you are SURE that God has move for you then there is nothing left to do but wait…
Yeah I know waiting can be hard for us 21st century believers. We live in a time when everything is MADE for us not to have to wait and and as a result most of us have not had to develop any sort of patience.

Galatians 5:22 tells us it is the Holy Spirit that produces the fruit of patience in our lives. Waiting on God is a call to trust and continue to believe God. Waiting on God means we know that He will not withhold any good from us. Waiting on God means pushing past the impatience of our flesh and trusting God in patience and confidence.

I know that people in our lives have broken some very serious promises and betrayed our confidences but the Lord is telling us today that He is not like man and that He can not and will not change His mind.

We have to decree right now that we will wait for the possessions of our confessions because we know that God has moved for us and we will see His goodness in our lives.

We decree according to Isaiah 40:8 (NLT) The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.”

We decree according to Luke 21:33 (NLT) Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.

We decree as it reads in Isaiah 55:11 (NLT) It is the same with my (GOD’S) word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

As we decree the word of God it is established for us. Continue to wait in faith, trust and patience for the LORD and you will see the manifestation of His power in your life. Be Blessed, Manie

The fact is whether we mean to or not some of us filter our relationship with God based on our relationships with other authority figures in our lives. We trust (or don’t trust) God in the same way we trust (or don’t trust) our parents, grandparents, teachers, and other adult family members and friends. If you have dealt with a lot of abandonment or rejection then you may NOT know with solid faith that God is always for you.

One of the things that Christ did for us through his sacrifice at the cross was chart a course of righteousness that stands FIRM forever. It is written in Romans 5:17 (NLT) For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who received it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.

God loves you and He always has the best in mind for us. Lately I have been reading over and over messages that teach that God is not author of trials which is somewhat contrary to what I was taught by religion. I thought that there were times when the Lord would bring storms or trials my way to purify and process me.

Yet it clear from the word the way it is intended for us to be taught in John 16:13-14 (NLT) When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me.

Let the following scriptures cause your faith to be grow and be strengthened in knowing that God is always for us and wants things to work out for you.

Joshua 1:9 (NLT) This is my command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Isaiah 41:10 (NLT) Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus came and told his disciples,”I have been given all authority in heaven and earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Romans 8:31-32 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against ust? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t be also give us everything else?

Romans 8:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever seperate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears today not our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of  hell can seperate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to seperate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Concrete confidence

James 1:24 (NLT) You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.

I want to tell you that if you allow him the enemy will attempt to deceive and talk you out of EVERYTHING God has for you through the lie of unworthiness.
There are times when we see ourselves through the reflection of God’s word and when we know and receive by faith that He has called us to be blessed, whole, healed and complete.
The problem we have with remembering who we look to God is because still there are glimpses of what the world wants us to see about ourselves. The lies of the world try to get us to think and feel that we are  not pretty enough, smart enough, good enough or talented enough to be or have anything in life.

The truth today is found in Romans 5:18 (NLT) Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.
The message the Holy Spirit keeps pounding into me is to know the work and redemption of the cross is COMPLETE. The enemy can’t undo it. He can only try and get us to forfeit our place by making us feel unworthy or guilty.  Resist those lies today in the Name of Jesus.

Step out today from the all the unworthiness the world has ever heaped on us based on their deceptive and fickle system of determining your worth.
Forget about the times you were rejected and hurt by family, friends or in romantic relationships.

Right now it is time to see, know, accept, remember and HOLD ON to the truth about who you today In Christ. You are a loved, blessed, favored and anointed child of God.

Eph. 2:10 (NLT) For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Today we make the decision that no matter what we heard in the past or even what some think right now we choose to believe and think as HIGHLY as ourselves as our Creator does. Today we make the decision to love ourselves the way God loved us when He had in mind and set in motion His plan for our forgiveness, redemption and healing. We make a decision to see ourselves the way Christ saw us on His way to the cross to pay in advance the price for our freedom and abundant life.

So we decree in the name of the our decisions are final and our confidence is concrete. Be Blessed, Manie

I want to testify according to the words of my last post..That God is true to His word and the lower pain is GONE. I obeyed God and saw Him move for me as I acted on my faith. And people of God this is just the beginning.

So on to the word of God for you today–
I  believe the people that God has assigned for me to minister to are the ones who believe and receive knowledge in a way similar to myself.  And that is to have the truth taught and told to them over and over again. So this week the Lord has been saying to me to go back to the basics for you.

I want to speak today on ONE of the most fundamentals truths the Lord wants us to know that is often overlooked in christianity.
Too many of us are feeling like we have to STILL do warfare with the enemy. Because that is what religious doctrine has taught us for most of our lives. Like for myself whenever I am not seeing God move for me then I immediately fly into warfare mode. I start rebuking and fighting the devil to let go of my stuff. I get out all my warfare and deliverance prayers and go at it with the enemy.

I am not a bible scholar or expert but I am led and taught through the word by the Holy Spirit and I have yet any kind of biblical evidence for this sort of thing. It was just something I was taught to do and so I did.

This morning I opened my bible to a favorite and freeing word of God. It is in Exodus 14:13-14 (NLT) But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

In the old testament the Lord himself rebuked satan in Zechariah 3. And as well we see Jesus deal with the enemy in Matthew chapter 4 with the word of God yet it is important to remember that was before the crucifiction and the resurrection.

The victory that Jesus won on the cross was FOR us. It gives us the victory over satan, the world and our own flesh.  Our redemption, deliverance and freedom is COMPLETE and FINAL what He has done for us.

The Lord spoke a personal word to me and I believe it is relevant for those of you reading this today.  That word is true  warfare is to just maintain our confession and faith in our victory, healing, prosperity, and deliverance. This word is for the remnant and everyone may not get this but for those of you that DO I want you to hear what the voice of the Holy Spirit is saying to you this day.

I am not saying the devil is not real and he is not still trying to steal, kill and destroy. Nor am I questioning the assignment and call to those who have deliverance ministries. Instead I will leave to you what the WORD says about enemy and let the Holy Spirit correct and lead you as needed.

Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

1 Peter 5:8-9a Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith.

2 Colossians 13:15 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He cancelled the record of the charge against us and took away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.

The fight I have with the enemy is stay in faith according to the word and know that he has no power or authority over me. Like the Apostle Paul has said I continue in fighting the good fight of faith.
Be Blessed, Manie

Attention Hog…

For about a week now I have been dealing with some extreme lower back pain. I have contributed this pain to a couple of things. Of course though as I am MORE a spirit than a body so I have sought to deal with this pain in the spiritual way. I have prayed healing over my body through the word and in the Name of Jesus.
The thing about me though is that I hate pain. This pain from day 1 has been trying to vy for all of my attention and I refuse to focus on it any longer.

In the course of my life I have done some very stupid things in the name of trying to avoid pain. This weekend I am moving forward in a big leap of faith and I sense in my spirit this pain is trying to steal the spotlight from my move of faith.
I can hear the LORD quickening my spirit and telling me to not give this pain any attention. The spiritual purpose of this pain is delay. It is trying to slow me down and hinder me not just in the natural but in the spiritual as well. I can hear the Lord saying to me on the other side of walking out His will this pain will leave my body. In the past any kind of pain has scared me and cause me to think, conclude or assume the worst but I know the PAIN means nothing. It is a lie from the enemy and it has about as much power over my body as the fire had over the 3 Hebrew boy in Daniel 3:27(NKJV)

Today the Lord is calling for all of us who are dealing with any kind of pain to continue to move forward. Do not focus on what it hurting you MORE than WHO is there to help you.
The word promises to us God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.  Psalm 46:1
See in the past PAIN had the power to stop me from doing what I wanted to do or what needed to be done.
I want to encourage those of you struggling physical, emotional, mental. financial or any kind of pain to press forward in the power and might of the Lord.
I know it may hurt but keep moving, keep believing, keep confessing, keep doing all it takes for you to move pass this pain.

Today we decree the following:
Today the power of pain is DEAD in the name of Jesus.
The God in us is greater than any  pain against us.
1 Chronicles 4:10 He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and expand my terrority! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!” And God granted him his request.
Be Blessed, Manie
